Garbage man turned Bard, inspired by drunken reprobate
Hal Hartley can be an acquired taste. His films are made in a mannered style, with deadpan delivery of dialogue and few natural pauses. I like it very much, but others might find it too artificial or just “bad acting”. More than meets the eye
this at first seems at best unusual....but watch it 2 or 3 times.......then watch movie called Fay Grim which is part 2 of Henry Fool....and the jigsaw puzzel pieces fall in place...Please forgive me.... a most engaging character is Simon Grim...he should not be taken lightly he is Fay's (idiot so she and her Mom think) Nobel Prize winning brother.....Henry Fool had faith in Simon and nutured him..as he began to write.....BRAVO.!!!!!Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned
