The service was fantastic, but the game itself was not as much fun as I thought it would be. I still enjoyed playing it; the graphics were good; the audio was entertaining; the story was enjoyable and the characters were(for the most part) tolerable. Disappointingly, the game-play was a bit strange to me on the Wii and the loss of the "changeable costumes" feature from the original continually bothered me. The list of playable characters in the sequel was roughly the same size as, or possibly even smaller than the amount of characters available to you in the original. Of those characters there were probably about a half a dozen of them who I simply didn't care to see or play and I personally wish the developers would have switched them for some characters I'd care to play more. To sum up: The game had some really nice features, but it's bad features were a bit too numerous and obvious to ignore.Read full review
I did not enjoy playing this game. I was more leaning towards one player mode and swicthing characters around, but I don't like the concept of the game, it has no other play mode other than being in groups of four. Yes you can switch the characters around and choose any four as you continue your adventure, but I don't like playing as a group. I wanted a single player mode game. This was not a single player, on a first person view. The graphics on the story itself are relative ok, not great. In addition to that the graphics of the game play when you start playing are definitely "Not good at all", it's like you're playing E.T in Atari.... Everything is little, the trees, the benches, you can't even make out the characters faces, they are too far away. So if you are looking for a great story line, a great frist person view game, (one player character mode) like Splinter cell, Metal gear, Mortal Kombat etc... this is not a game for you...I like a great action game that I can get involve in the story and enjoy the character to the fullest. This is not one of those games...Read full review
Great game for my 8 year old! A little challenging but he's figuring it out.

I decided to get Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2 because I loved the original Marvel Ultimate Alliance game from a few years ago. If you love Marvel comics, you should love these games. The first game was all about fighting and role-playing, and the second one is really more of the same. I played the original MUA on PC and loved it -- graphics were great and the game ran well. Since PC is not available for MUA2, I bought the Wii version. I'd read that the graphics were poor on the Wii version, but I don't think so. It's awesome being able to play the Hulk this time!! Only thing that doesn't match is the health -- Hulk can be "killed" really easily, which is ridiculous, and Wolverine's health doesn't last nearly as long as it did in the original game. Bottom line, if you like MUA, you'll like or love MUA2. More of the same and lots of fun.Read full review
