Refurbished VCR/DVD - Good Buy
I wasn't sure buying a refurbished product would be a good idea, but we decided to try it as purchasing new is very pricey. It was easy to set up and for the few days the product has been used it is excellent; no noises in the motor and the timer for taping is working perfectly. The two older remotes we had on hand were not working well - the remote that came with this VCR is excellent. The VCR looks brand new - an added bonus. We are very pleased! Philips DVP3345V does not work
Unit came with out a manual. I purchased a new unused remote and downloaded a manual from the Web. I tried to connect this unit up to a 2015 55" GL TV. Just what I needed
To be honest, I'm afraid of jinxing myself, but I must admit, this device is exactly what I needed. I does everything it's supposed to do, and does it as if it was brand new! It plays both VHS tapes, and DVD's. It's timer recording also works perfectly. I was afraid, with out a manual, it might be difficult to learn. Remote
The remote that came with the machine would not operate the machine. I checked the remote with my smart phone camera and it is sending out a signal. I have another Philips machine and its remote worked this machine so it appears the remote that came with the machine is not programmed for it.
