I bought this book after my son spotted it at a retail book store. I thought the book was too silly at the time and dismissed it. Really, "Choo-choo, poo poo"? Come on! But, all my first-impression misgivings aside, the potty-training theme of this book is hard to beat. It's also heart-warming that the author acknowledges his parents' role in the book. How awesome. My son loves trains and when he wants to go to the potty, he repeats the choo choo sayings and laughs. We are still in the beginning stages of potty training, however, that's when a book is most helpful. I can't report success, but we certainly have gotten off to a good start thanks to this book. A more sturdy, board book format may have been a better choice for a two-year-old, but so far we love the book.
My son loves this book. He has me read it over and over!

Great illistrations for little ones, and keeps their interest in the book. love how the little boy in the book uses all his animals to help him go potty and uses his imagination. My son loves trains so that is why I chose this book to help him get started, because he is just not interested in potty training right now, so hoping this will help him out some.
Fun book to help the potty training process. Adults enjoy the illustrations and text along with the tots.

Sweet potty training story, it's not as direct as other books about the subject but a nice supplement to something like everybody poops or the potty book.
