Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines, commonly abbreviated as T3, is a 2003 science-fiction film directed by Jonathan Mostow and starring Arnold Schwarzenegger, Nick Stahl, Claire Danes and Kristanna Loken. It is the second sequel to The Terminator (1984). The film was released in the United States on July 2, 2003. It was released under the Warner Bros. label, as the studios that produced the first two Terminator films (Orion Pictures and Carolco Pictures) had gone out of business by that point. After the failure of Skynet to kill Sarah Connor before her son is born and to kill John himself as a child, it sends back another Terminator, the T-X, in a last attempt just on Judgment Day to wipe out as many Resistance officers as possible. This includes John's future wife, but not John himself as his whereabouts are unknown to Skynet. Yet, as the story unfolds, the T-X coincidentally finds the Resistance leader-to-be.Read full review
Superb special effects. Let's face it, We are spoiled by these digital effects. They seem to get better and better. Arnold reprises his roll very well. As good as the first 2 episodes. I liked Clare Danes as Kathryn Brewster. You could see the changes in her personality as the movie wore on. If you liked the first 2 episodes, you will like this episode as well.

I know it got bad press when it came out, and even though James Cameron wasn't involved in this one, it's still an entertaining movie. The first major chasing scene is phenomenal! I am happy to add this to my Blu-Ray collection.

Movie is about Arnold playing as a Terminator again to save an older John Conner. Movie is good but not as good as the Termintor 2, but has lots of special effects and decent story line. Good for sci-fi fans and people who just want to watch action movie.
