Ill-thought out, poor fit and poor install process.
This produce has some positives. The film itself is good quality (even if it can easily be scratched, it takes the damage in place of your Switch's plastic touchscreen. It is also well packaged and contains a quality microfiber cloth. This is where the positives end, however.
The installation procedure is terrible. Most importantly, whoever designed this took no consideration of making it easy for the user. The film comes with two protective layers numbered 1 and 2. Sadly, these indicators/pull tabs are located on the right hand side of the Switch. There are no easy visual guides on that side, as the left one has both a speaker hole and the proximity/light sensor. The right hand side does have one speaker hole, but you cannot use this as a visual cue because the indicator number 2 entirely obscures it from view. It also appears to be just off, size wise, so no matter how many times you try to reapply, the left hand side will come out wrongly. You will either partially cover the proximity/light sensor or the speaker hole, or you will overshoot in some other way. There is a difference between tight fit and nearly impossible fit. The end result is going to be a disappointing mess of bubbles, and dust particles (which will start sticking on the underside of the film as soon as you make the first mistake and try to peel back). In my case, I decided to use scissors to cut part of the film, just to be able to apply it. It's a terribly designed product and a shame that basic things have not been considered here. If the whole product was 0.5mm smaller on all sides, and has slightly larger holes for the speaker holes and the proximity/light sensor, it would have worked perfectly. The pull tabs should have been on the left side as well. Buyers, be warned!
