It's a long way from plug n play, but this beast really delivers.
I read a lot of reviews on this product and they were spot on. It has great sound, massive power, a plethora of options, and an enormous headache to make function. I've spent many hours on it and still don't quite have it as I like. I've had three different product manuals and a dozen forum pages and keep ordering cables, and I can't say I've yet mastered it. Have 3 Denon receivers-- this is the best. However, instructions written for extreme audiophiles. Or electrical engineers. And audiophiles love that. Of course Denon loves its smart but extremely small customer base, but with just a little effort and very little expense (English majors are a dime a dozen) they could offer a DENON FOR LIBERAL ARTS MAJORS or similar help.
