12v charging solution for Malaya batteries
Just what I needed for off grid building. Charges batteries just like the AC version and just as quick. I had serious concerns about using a modified sine wave inverter on my solar system and was looking at spending hundreds of dollars to buy a pure sine wave inverter as to not damage the Makita batteries. This Makita DC charger is awesome. Plug it right into your trucks 12v system and charge your batteries. I am always working on sites with no power and when my batteries die I am at a loss and have to wait to get home to charge them. But now when my batteries die I just throw them on my charger and I'm good to go. Just be careful it will keep running when you turn your truck off and possibly drain your battery.
