Made in USA, high quality, FAST recovery rate, all at a reasonable cost - can't go wrong with this one! Only wish it came with a pressure regulator. Bought on 2/28/2019. Had a minor leak at the bottom drain compression fitting for the nylon line when first received - this line is pretty low to the ground, and is right in the line of fire when moving it off the shipping pallet. They must've hit it at the factory when loading it up - i have read several reviews with this same issue. I ran the compressor for almost a half hour with the valve open to break it in, and check for leaks before removing it from the pallet. Just tightening up the fitting a bit stopped the leak completely. Also went over the pulleys to make sure everything was tight. No issues there. My second gripe is the heavy weight break-in oil shipped from the factory. This probably won't be an issue in most of the USA, but if the compressor is kept in areas that fall below 32°F, she will struggle to start. At this temperature, the oil is EXACTLY like molasses. This happened with mine twice, and screwed up the pressure switch for a bit (was kicking off too soon, and kicking on too soon, until I assume things cooled down inside). I have over an hour of run time so far, and it hasn't acted up since. I bought a 25w stick-on heater that I stuck on the left side of the crankcase for those cold mornings. I want to run this oil for at least 50 hours (they recommend 100 hours), and then I'll switch to Amsoil 20w full synthetic compressor oil - this will eliminate any cold starting issues, while still protecting the unit when temps reach the mid 90's in the summer. I also installed a 220v Hobbs meter to track run time for maintenance purposes. I ran mine using 10 gauge wire from a 40A breaker - the wire was already there for my automotive lift & welder, so I tapped into that (wouldn't ever run more than 1 unit at the same time). It runs at 28 amps, and probably draws 60-70A for 2-3 seconds when starting. Haven't tripped that breaker once, even when it struggled to start in the cold (I threw the switch to OFF after 5 seconds). She's a heavy one, with most of her weight being up high, so have some neighbors over to help get her in position. We were able to use forks on a front load tractor to offload from the truck, and move the unit to where I wanted it, even though lift gate service was included in the shipping on this one. What a difference from my Craftsman single stage! MUCH more quiet with double the volume and recovery rate!Read full review

I've never had this much air. The machine is relatively quiet and after sitting, shut off for days it retains its air charge. After my last unit being so loud and leaky I wanted to hear this thing run, but turns out 60 gallons of 175 psi makes for a lot of volume and it doesn't have to run much. I would buy another

Extremely happy with the performance and recovery. Much quieter than others I've been around..Perfect for a one man garage. The only trouble I've had was the protection cage around the belt and pulleys...It rattles... Easily fixed with rubber gaskets...

Purchased this compressor to replace my 30 year old unit. The Quincy compressor is quiet and provides plenty of air for my small shop. Definitely worth the price!

I ordered it over a month ago so it's hard to say how good of a product it is when I have never tried it out because it hasn't even been delivered yet.
