This Magdalena Yoder murder mystery contained 2 suprising revelations that I'm sure are explored further in the next PA Dutch Mystery. I have enjoyed every one of the Pennsylvania Dutch Mysteries that I have read so far. I was thrilled that the Babster and Magdalena finally tied the knot. Her new monster-in-law added humor and disfunction to the story. Magdalena's unusual behavior and point of view for a "faithful" Mennonite woman usually results in hilarious situations. This fell a little flat in As the World Churns. She was more annoying and self centered than flippantly outrageous in this installment. It was still entertaining but not of the usual quality I have come to expect from Ms. Myers.
