I purchased this Geolander M/T G003 255x...
I purchased this Geolander M/T G003 255x80x17 because I needed a matched diameter tire for the set of 255x85x16 Geolanders I had purchased locally. 1. United Tires was a joy to work with. 2. Their description of the tire was spot on. To be perfectly honest the tire was almost brand new and better than I expected. When I compared it to the G003 s I just installed on my truck the only difference was that it was a little dusty. There were no scuffs etc. that I could see. 3. Their delivery was fast and free. 4. While I did not need follow-up they contacted me to make sure all was well. 5. As for the comments on the things I check as part of this rating. Quality, Comfort Noise and Tread are really all I can comment on. The tire was installed as a spare so it will probably never touch the ground. However since I purchase a set of 4 of exactly the same tire locally I think these comments might help you if you decide to purchase this tire from United Tires. Quality . . . as good as any M/T you can buy. Comfort - when balanced well this tire rides and corners well. It does not induce any vibration into your drive as you would expect a typical lugged tire to do. Noise - this is the first M/T tire I have purchased. Mounted on a 1999 Ford F-150 4x4 with the Off Road Package. So with that said - these tires are as quiet as the set of Goodrich A/T tires which I had on it. They have a little suspension sync or something at 40 mph and rumble. Then after that it turns into a gentle unassuming hum all the way up to 75 mph where it starts to rumble again. Tread - the tread is aggressive with side blocks and Yokohama s reinforced sidewalls to keep rock damage at bay. The Tire is 10 ply rated. I did not comment on weather performance because I have not had any weather to drive them in yet. Have also not offroaded them yet since they have been on the car for a whopping 200 miles. Quiet high quality mud terrain
Aggressive but quiet. Mud terrains get louder with time, so time will tell. These start off significantly quieter than its competitors. Other mud terrains I’ve tried leave a black haze of rubber on my white truck, which indicates fast wear. Haven’t seen that yet with these tires. I’m impressed.

So far, so good!
I was looking for decent tires to replace some Cooper MTs. These Yokohama tires were reasonably priced, compared to other brands I was looking at. Put 295/70/18s on F150. They are much quieter on the highway than my previous tires. I've been off road twice so far and they've worked fine. I didn't even have to engage the 4x4.
