Works great for its intended purpose.
I have an older Dig single point sprinkler timer that I have had for years. It works well for the purpose I purchased it for. Change the battery once a year and that is about all I needed to do with it. I also changed the rubber seal once due to age, but it was very easy to do. The new Dig single point sprinkler timer is built a little bit better with AA batteries, instead of 9V expensive cell. Easy set up, once I read the first few pages of the manual how to program and adjust the valve seating it works perfectly for my needs. This new timer has a even or odd day setting, which is nice for bush watering vs. grass and city water control days. Would I buy it again, the answer is absolutely. Keep it cover somehow, as the Sun does a nasty thing to the plastic cover over the years, is the only additional advice I can give new users.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

Not easy to screw in.
I striped plastic threads on unit, and had to order part from manufacturer. I have a brass anti siphon valve, and found it difficult to screw in without stripping plastic threads.
