This book is the most recent in the Resident Evil series by S.D. Perry. This book is a prequel to the first book and is based on the game Resident Evil: Zero for the Nintendo Gamecube (which is a prequel to Resident Evil). I would imagine that turning a video game without much dialogue into a great page turner is a tough task, and Perry masters it as she has in all the other Resident Evil books. This books tells the tale of how the Resident Evil story started. The book starts out with STARS investigating and then stumbling onto an overturned military vehicle containing two dead army officers and a missing prisoner and serial murderer, Billy Coen. You start off reading as Rebecca Chambers, a rookie on the STARS squad. She quickly finds herself on a seemingly abandoned train and then the trouble starts...as only Resident Evil trouble can! With a virus outbreak! She is forced to team up with the escaped Billy Coen to try to make it out alive. This book is 260+ pages of great reading. I read it in a few days and could hardly bring myself to put it down! A must read if you are a fan of the Resident evil movies, games or the other books!Read full review
Ok where do i start, how about with the arthur S.D Perry. Shes gone and taken all the events of the games and has turned them into amazing books. I have read all the series so far and each one is very detailed. With Zero Hour S.D Perry takes you on the journey of a group called S.T.A.R.S Bravo Team, who investigates a series of murders in the town of Raccon City. On their journey to Raccon Forest their helicopter crashes. Each member somehow survives, but what they are about to come across, will make them wish they never survived. The story is very detailed and involves alot of information that was never mentioned in the game that came out on the gamecube. Each character is fully describe, along with their thoughts and feelings towards one another. Also 273 pages, makes a good read. Out of the series i would say this is probably the third best book in the series in my view, where "Nemesis" and "City of the Dead" outshine this one abit, but overall if you love the game or love reading thrillers, then i'd recommend buying this, as it's titled "Zero" and would start you off, if your new to Resident Evil.Read full review
Before I begin I must apolgize because in an early review I promised a review for Calbian cove but I am afriad I got wrapped up in Resident evil Zero hour now lets begin. There is a brillant atnosphere through out the story and the describsion of the charecters and areas and monsters are great. The book follows the game almost perfectly but there are some differences however In my opinion this just adds to the charm of the book. Once agian thankyou for reading my review I hope you find it helpful. David
