This is a quality book for someone who is looking into self defense. While this book doesn't cover how to physically do so, it goes over the mindset in which you need. Basic Mindset Training
Simple, clear and concise. This is a well written booklet that has more to do with ones overall mindset than actual defense training techniques. The most dangerous thing a person has going is their mind not a gun or knife. That said you'd better have your head screwed on right if you're going to take responsibility for your self. This book could very well save your life besides being a good guide to living and dealing with lots of common threats to your peace & well being.
