Prior to the first cast I went to set the drag and the reel when set as far as it will go still has about 1 lb. of free spool. In other if set all the way you have to hand line a fish over 2 lbs. Also thumb release will cause the lure to stop in mid cast about every six to seven cast thus going about 15 feet instead of 40 feet most likely due to being plastic rather than metal. No problem I’ll give it to my four year old granddaughter cause she want no the difference👎
