I hope mine was an anomaly- it fell apart
I replaced the OEM idler pulley on my LT1 Firebird since the bearing was beginning to make some noise. I wanted to avoid a no-name part and I had read some reviews on the Autotecnica part supposedly using a high quality bearing. I got it installed and it fit properly, but when I started the engine after about a minute I heard a clanging sound and my voltmeter dropped. I shut off the engine and found the pulley had separated from the bearing. The pulley had shot onto the floor of my shop, fortunately nothing else was damaged. Hopefully this was a one off situation (vs a bad batch) as I still need a pulley. At this point, I cannot recommend it or say it is a good value as the quality was lacking.
