The Vortex Vultures offer the clarity and magnification you would expect for the price before you truly start paying heavier money for performance.
The Vortex Vulture binoculars give tremendous clarity throughout the range of magnification. It's consistent from close objects to those several hundred yards away. The overall size of the Vulture, for it's magnification is considerably compact verses the much more inexpensive binoculars which advertise the same performance are virtually double in size and seem as they should be mounted on a stand. The Vulture is much more practical. I use mine at the range and finding the target is quick and my shots are fairly clear at 100 yards away with a steady hand. Reaching out to 150 yards and beyond, you would want range scope (and a tripod). It's not particularly inexpensive, however if found at a reduced price, you'll have a great pair of optics that should meet most, if not all, of your needs. I'm very satisfied with these optics and going beyond their magnification enters a realm of much higher dollar to performance.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Lenses are Clear and Bright
I’ve had a number of different optics in my day from years hunting and shooting. I would really say stick with Nikon or something else Japanese.
