Good with one issue
This unit shaves better and quicker than the older style (individual cutter assemblies open and stay attached to the unit) I had. It does much better on 3 to 4 day growths also. But there is a quality issue with the orange plastic retainer rings used to hold the cutter assemblies in place. Both units I received (from two different sources) had a defective plastic ring. I returned the first unit because one of the cutter assemblies kept coming apart when I shaved. When the second unit arrived and did the same thing I looked to see what was causing the problem. There are two small tabs on each plastic ring. One of these tabs was too small (quality control problem) so the plastic ring would not lock in place. I could over tighten the ring and get it to say in but by over tightening the cutter assembly would not pivot correctly. I sent a picture and explanation to the second supplier and they sent me two new plastic rings. Luckily I only needed one ring to correct the problem because one of the replacement rings also had the tab problem. Unit is working well now and I like it. But, I believe the manufacturer, Phillips, needs to better inspect the plastic rings during assembly and packaging. These are not cheap units. Very bad quality or manufacturing defective
I purchased this item because it was claimed as genuine phillips brand but when i received it didnt look like genuine. I installed and tried and found one blade is not rotating well and is defective. I tried to adjust blade by opening with provided tools and still not working. Since one blade is not functioning well I am unable to use it and seems i lost my money. Great replacement head
This is my second replacement head and life is about 12 months using everyday. I like the design for fast cleaning and rotation of the head each time you clean it. A idea to make this design better. I would suggest a color code or number next to the rotating head as a reference to what heat was used as the lead head from the last shave. This would allow the user to rotate the heads so you get a equal mount of cutting from each head resulting in a better shave and maybe better life. I would like a life time supply of heads for this idea if used. That won't be many due to my age of 68 yrs old.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

NOT THE SAME!
I was expecting OE equipment and received a knock-off. I couldn't figure out why this item was so inexpensive now I know why. It all looks legit great copies, what China does best ! It cuts OK but not close and smooth. The picture shows an OE item but what you get is not exactly the same. The OE gears are green on the shaver heads and the ones here are smaller and gray plastic. Perfect fit...great shave!
Perfectly fits my Norelco shaver. I have replaced the shaving heads yearly as "encouraged" in the operating manual/instructions and have now gotten 6 years of service out of this razor. Much worse than the predecessor!
Like many other reviewers state, this shaving head is a disaster, compared to the one it replaced. It cuts less close. It's hard to shave under your nose. It's harder to clean. It feels flimsy & cheap. I can only think of one single advantage - it's a bit less noisy. However, it will surely change after a while. Good value and fast close shave.
This replacement shaving head came faster than anticipated and was a true Norelco replacement. The price was good and replacement was overdue because of the high replacement prices from other dealers. This replaces the RQ12+, which replaces the flip open Series 10 on the original razor. It is the best one yet and much easier to clean than the flip open style. Although a bit larger, it fits in the original charging case with the head still on. After a month of use it remains very sharp, and has increased the amount of shaving time between charges as it shaves in less than one quarter of the time of the old and dull head that it repalces.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
