Great drop spreader for fertelizer but in need of some modifications for it to be a credible drop snader.
Good quality, fair price, great delivery. I bought it to modify into a drop sander for my glacier driveway. The sand I get from my city barn has dime sized pebbles in it so I'll need to fix a screen in the bottom to prevent damage to the auger. The sand is also very wet so it tends to clump together and clog the discharge grid. I'll need to cut out every other cross bar to enlarge the openings a bit. Then it should work slick - now that it's almost spring.

The spreader came very quickly & all you had to do to assemble was to extend the handle & put in to bolts. I've used it once & it worked very well, the only feature it does not have that my old scotts spreader had was the locking feature that let you pull the release lever then lock it in place & you spread without holding onto the release lever. This was a nice feature.
