I literally had to check the label because I thought I had accidently bought 'Conditioner' instead of shampoo! There are no suds, no foaming, no clean hair feel...just flat lifeless hair! This is a kind of tainting mistured with a soap to make foam and become a shampoo. Instead of using it daily, you rather should use it once a week and let it remain around 5 minutes before rinsing the hair with water. Making so, you can reduce the gray hair to a certain extent. This stuff really works well and is very easy to use. I used it about 4 times and noticed my grey hair was totally disappearing. When my hair was the way I wanted it, I went back to my regular shampoo. Now I just have to use it about every two weeks to maintain my "look". I was skeptical at first but this product really does work. I have been using Control GX for well over a year and I have been able to control the gray hairs I want to keep by using it 3 times weekly. One caveat is that it will turn your palms and fingertips black so do beware I now use disposable latex gloves when shampooing . If there were 6 stars, I'd give 6....
By FAR the best hair color product I've ever used... My hair tends to be hard to color, with even most colors washing out pretty quickly. Control GX has been easier to apply, and much more permanent. Since you control the exact amount of color by how often you apply, and how long you leave it on, the look is incredibly natural. This product is a fraction of the cost of other colors, because a small shampoo amount is enough to do a complete coloring if left on a little longer. No more roots ever... This would be very hard to improve upon! The ONLY thing to watch out for is that it does stain the heck out of fingernails, or even dry skin. SO, I personally have to wear gloves when applying... Old 5 Oz formula is great. New 4 Oz formula is not.
The original formula pictured here, 5 Oz tube is a great way to shampoo away the grey. The new formula, 4 Oz tube with picture of male model on the box is not great. It doesn’t work as well and stains your hands and nails unless you wear surgical gloves while applying it.
