I really have enjoyed having this thumb.
I actually put the thumb on a DR towable backhoe. works just like it's supposed to work. I have already used it and saved me a lot of hard work and heavy lifting. I work in a machine shop and I could not have bought the steel and fabricated this part for what I paid for it for just one part. It had no instructions other than a drawing that was a drawing of the thumb with the bolts through the plates but not on an actual backhoe arm. Saw a video on YouTube that helped. Does not fit a Kubota BX24
The description reads the unit is compatible with a Kubota BX24, it is not. The unit does not secure to the arm, it slides up and down, in doing so it contacts the hydraulic line, in my case it damaged the line resulting in a leak. Does not fit correctly, created minor damage to my boom stick when I grabbed the first piece of wood. It forced the thumb to slide on the boom stick under pressure. It is missing a support that goes from the thumb to the boom stick factory mount, which keeps it from sliding up or down the boom stick when under pressure.
