Pelican needs to be more user friendly!
Hey Pelican you ever heard of "PLUCK" style foam? Never buying a Pelican case again unless they change! Trying to cut this foam to fit my rifle and items in the case was a disaster! After trying utility knife with new blade-did not work- went to a small utitlity saw, then to a hacksaw with an open ended very fine blade to cut through the 5" foam or whatever it is. Talk about a mess and the foam is staticky-stuck to everything- I have a really good vacum and it would barely pick it up! Took hours to cut and clean do not do this in your house do it outside! Other case manufacturers use "PLUCK" foam which is precut and reusable WAAAYYY easier! The case is built solid and can handle airport baggage handlers but it is HUUGGEE 56" long 17" wide can handle two guns or one gun and a lot of gear- binos, rangefinder etc. has 4 locking points for the TSA locks and heavy mine weighed 23 lbs empty and airlines have a 50lb limit! So there is my rant!

Built sturdy, has 6 locking latches w/safety to keep them from unlocking unless desired. Large size, which I needed for Armalite 50bmg.
