Very disappointed! With my Rampage V, I had a E5 1650 v3 that could easily hit 4.7ghz and I could push 4.8ghz but the voltage would be a bit high. Instead of getting the cheaper 1660 v3, I went with the 1680v3 because I figured it should overclock better. However, The 1680 v3 I got tops out at 4.3ghz with 1.3v. It needs too much voltage to run at 4.4ghz. Even a Silicon lottery losing 5960x can do 4.4ghz. I have a Rampage IV Extreme in another system with the 1680 v2 and it can do 4.7ghz with less than 1.4v so I figured the v3 version would do just as well. Guess not. I feel like I wasted my money.
