I bought this game for my kids, and they thoroughly enjoyed it. The game follows the avatar cartoon fairly well and only makes minor changes to the story to make it fit with in the realm of the game. Though the video graphics during the informational scenes could have used a bit more attention and a lot more detail, though the game play was very well scripted. It took my 4 year old about a week to beat it on his own which is pretty good for a kid’s game. I am not sure if it was harder in co-op mode or if my kids are not good team players but when my 8 and 4 year olds played it together it took them much longer to make it through the game. It should be noted that you can have no more than 2 players in game at any one time and some of the earlier bosses are harder than the later ones. In fact the only complaints my kids had was when they reach the end it was too easy to beat. The main reason I know this is I had to beat the lower end bosses for them so they could advance on. I highly recommend this game for kids 12 years old and younger; my 13 year old who liked the cartoon found the repetitive play of the game to be boring and never finished it. Special moves for each character are some what limited and you never truly get to use all of the avatars powers. I gave this game a Good rating since it followed the original story line pretty well and the over all game play was smooth and simple. There are no special characteristics that set this game apart from any other... if your kids like the avatar its more than likely they will like the game.Read full review
I bought this game because I'm a huge fan of the TV show and I don't regret buying it. The game is definitely aimed at small children and it was fun to play with my little sister. There are not many good games on the Xbox 360 for children, but this one is a great one. It's not a bad game, but if you are older than 13, you might not enjoy it too much. I would recommend buying it if it's for a child, or if you are a huge fan of the TV show like I am, or if you collect videogames like I do. My biggest plus with this game is that it has 2 player offline co-op so two people can play together. It's perfect for kids.
Bought the game for my son, who enjoys watching the series on TV. He enjoyed the game, although it was pretty simple. The puzzles take a little effort to solve, but can be solved by trial and error (8 year old common sense). The combat is just button mashing, but again, just fine for an 8 yr old. It reminded me a little of the Lego games, although you or the adversaries don't explode when health reaches zero. All in all, a simple game that a young child will enjoy.
My 7 year old is an Avatar fanatic so when he got this game for bringing home a good report card he was excited! The game basically follows the second season of the show although in a very shortened version. The game was fun although kinda simple in task and very easy to me in difficulty and it seemed so even for my son but again it's Avatar so he really didn't care. However I was amazed that he finished the game in 3 days and that's not playing it that much! When it said "you have completed the game" tonight he was pretty surpised it was already over. It only has 7 chapters/levels to it and most of the time spent on these was to defeat the boss at the end of the chapter. The cut scenes look pretty rushed as sometimes you see the mouths moving when they talk and sometimes you don't. All enemies were easy to defeat and there was no challenge in them at all. I spent $20 on this game and for me and my son yes, it was worth that price. Had I spent the $50 retail I see on it elsewhere I would have definately been disappointed.Read full review
For fans of the animation show, you will probably be a bit disappointed. The game plays like it was made in NES days and by the way the story plays out, you can tell there was not much effort put in this game. THQ has done better but I guess Nickelodeon set a low standard. But on the other hand, if you are an avid XBOX 360 gamer, this game has the easiest and quickest 1000 gamer points to get. Simply press the B button repeatedly at the beginning of the game and the achievements start popping. After you hit the 60 hit combo, you would have unlocked all 5 achievements totalling 1000 points. At that point, just take out the game disc and move on to something of more substance.
Easiest 1000 Achievement points ever. Just start a new game and run to the left and keep hitting the "B" Button. There will be a short cut-scene, and then just run to the left again and keep hitting the "B" button again. Took me less than five minutes to get the achievements. It's actually a fun game to play at first, but has very little replay value if any.
Got this for my son for Christmas. He really likes it. Very fun game if you have enjoyed the show.

If you're a fan of the Avatar show, then this is a fun game for you. If not, stay away (unless you're after xbox achievements). It's fun, but incredibly easy to get through to story line (if you can stay interested, gets just repetitive and boring at parts). If you enjoy the story, rent it, but it if you can find it for cheap ($15 ). You won't regret playing it, but it won't make your gaming experience either.
Well bought a game came quick and works so perfect
