The bearing video was just the ticket. I breezed right through taking old out and putting new in. I was a little bummed when I was talking with my mechanic and he said he had done the same on his machine but for a considerable amount less. However, I will withhold judgement until I see how long the bearings last.

Inspect the spider arm on the back of the tub very closely. If you find a hairline crack then the new bearings are not going to fix your washer or stop the squeeking. Replace the arm and the bearings if you find a crack.
