All my other knives are made in USA so I was very hesitant on this (made in China) but loved the definite KaBar look of this one. At under $20, and based on several other positive reviews I figured it was worth the risk. Glad I did: this knife is terrific! Looks as good or better than pics, feels solid and substantial, great fit in hand, smooth opening/closing, locks up tight with NO wiggle, surprisingly flawless fit/finish, and came as sharp as any other name-brand knife I've bought. Knife snobs or high-end collectors will probably find something they don't like but I honestly have nothing bad to say. If any concern, it's unclear what exactly the uniformly smooth gray finish on all the metal including the blade itself is; looks like paint or powder-coat. Looks great, not grainy or dull but not too shiny; it just visually works and blends perfectly with the black and multi-brown pattern in the handle scales. Haven't put it through any hard use yet but nice thick blade and grippy handle just feels like it'll hold up. And, again, at under $20, awesome value and can't really go wrong actually using it. I've read others' comment on flipper being stiff for opening; if so I must have gotten lucky or have different expectations as mine is just right: stays closed until I need to open it and solid finger strike with flip of the wrist works just fine, the flipper then becoming a perfectly placed guard. Keep in mind it is NOT assisted. No issues with the liner lock, it just works and unlocks with reasonable fingertip effort, seems just the right amount of surface for convenience and the guard/flipper design/proximity actually makes it safer to disengage the lock. Definitely NOT a slim, petite little knife, it's solid and thick. Plenty of handle to keep a solid grip, you'll know you're carrying but not too oversized for EDC. Open frame won't trap gunk or debris and should be easy to super easy to clean too. Can't believe I've rambled on this much but really thrilled with this knife...and did I mention $20-range?! Ka-Bar quality, wish was made in USA but then it'd cost at least twice what this one does. This one is a winner!Read full review

This is quite a good knife.the handle is grippy and the wooden appearance is attractive..the handle also seems to fit well and its big enough for large hands. The blade is sharp and with the blood groove it gives the knife that ka bar traditional feeling.i think i will use and enjoy this knife

This blade is a great value the blade steel is ok but the design of the blade is great the overall ergos are good it's an excellent carry knife a little large but works great and I'm inclined to a knife with some weight and heft helps with the function and ease of use may not hold a edge as long but I enjoy setting down with a blade and sharpener you wont regret the purchase at least I didn't

Good quality, good weight. Steel stays sharp. I like how it looks like a cut down bayonet. Not too big for edc, could easily modify into a clip point
