Ideal Matte Finish for Polymer Clay Art Dolls and Figurines
I needed a true matte protective finish for my Sculpey Premo Clay dolls and figurines. This works beautifully, especially if you lightly apply it with a small wedge shape cosmetic sponge. Dries quickly, not sticky, at all. The matte finish is perfect applied over the finished cured/baked piece, be it painted or chalked and there is no running or bleeding of colors. Beautifully clear, no yellowing, and matte. . . better than Sculpey matte/satin finish. This size is perfect and will last for hundreds of projects. Before opening, I slowly rolled the can back and forth on the carpet to 'stir' the varnish, Then upon opening it, I gently stirred the varnish with a clean popsicle stick, then dipped the tip of the wedge-shaped cosmetic sponge in the varnish, blot gently on scrap plastic lid and then applied the varnish in a smooth stroke motion over the baked and painted clay surface.

Not really matte, more like satin
I have matte floors and tried to match a little corner that I fixed up and this matte poly end up to be a way more shiny then my matte floors. Product I used for my floor was not the same but matte should be matte. other then that the product seems good.
