Second time I bought this bc my son stole my other one lol. Keeps hot drinks REALLY hot and for a long time. Love that the lid is extremely sturdy and not cheap plastic that breaks so easily as many others of mine have. I have bought 2 different styles of this travel mug.This lid design is not good for travelling,the pull up part of the lid which you have to open to be able to drink is too hard to open and in my opinion, has the potential to cause injury.The lid should have a dip in it to allow room for your nose to fit in so its not getting squashed when drinking.Your 2nd style is PERFECT,but could also do with a dip in the lid so your nose doesnt get squashed.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

I like this 20oz travel mug very much. It really is a great quality product for a great price. It keeps your coffee warm for quite a long time. I have not used it for anything cold yet but it says it will keep things cold even longer than the warm liquids you put in it. It opens and closes very easily and will keep your drink from spilling out should it tip over when you have it closed. contigo spill proof cup
I loved the prior version of this product. The thermos/cup in itself is good, does what it's says. The lid is the issue. It is no longer 100% spill proof. Lid is spill proof only if button is completely down. If anything happens before you put the lid down it spills. Making this once exceptional product like all the others in same catagory. Coffee still hot hours later.
A friend turned me on to these cups quite a while ago, and this is the 3rd one I have purchased for me personally, My wife also has 3 and I bought 1 for a friend and now he has several. With the lid closed if you dump your cup over there is never a drop spilled and if your like me and sometimes get busy and forget to drink your coffee even hrs later it is still nice and hot. They also work quite well for keeping things cold, not quite as good as keeping hot but still pretty good, hence the reason we have multiple cups.
