A magical book
I read this to my 3 year old granddaughter on Christmas day. She had received the book and a Clara nutcracker as gifts from Santa. She and I were equally enchanted by the illustrations and the story. It was almost as magical as the NYC ballet version. The illustrations were spot on and beautifully rendered. She was curious as to why her nutcracker girl was Clara and the girl in the book was Marie or Maria.
