I brought the textbook, Mass Media in a Changing World by George Rodman for my Mass Media and Society class. I like the format of the book, where on the side of the pages, it gives you the bold words and their meanings. It is easy to read and understand. Also in the end of each chapter there is a summary and a list of the bold words that help you know what to focus on. What I dislike about this textbook is that each chapter is really long, about 30 pages or so. If you decide to read it, you'll need to make sure you'll have the time. Overall, it's a good textbook so far.
This book has been very helpful for my class that I am currently taking. I have learned a lot already from reading the text.
