I purchased this unit as a backup switch, because I thought that the Autozone replacement unit was going out, so I swapped it. It was good for a couple of months, until my lights again started to blank out while driving down the road, at night. I would bang on the dashboard, and fiddle with the switch, and sometimes it would start right up. I checked the wiring, once I had the time, and found out that the back wire, I think it's ground, the back tab connector was melting the body of the switch. I had saved the Autozone Multiswitch also, and reinstalled it. That saved the day. The aftermarket units are Nowhere as reliable as the factory unit. which was over 20 years old.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
