The 1st book Ms.Ink wrote about Persia Vanderbilt was a solid read and I had her on my list of authors for the future. Book two and now this...book three are going downhill fast instead of getting better. The self-absorption of her character has worn out its welcome. Ms. Ink needs more emphasis on the town & people, Persia's aunt, and about the shop she works in. These have been missing more and more in these last two books. All we hear about now is how "toned" and "beautiful" Persia is, as if Persia doesn't already say and think that herself, along with a detailed description of every clothes item she wears and how marvelous it looks on her. It also seems Persia can't have a normal conversation with her boyfriend without having sex with him. It was a struggle to get through this book. The mystery was way to easy to solve so there was no challenge. I doubt I will be buying anymore unless I see better reviews from other people on book sites.Read full review
