I loved this book because it was an easy read, with pictures to help visualize their advice. It was great at advising what colors to choose, and what furniture is best to use for your particular layout. This book could have been better in aiding the novice how to do the furniture layout to maximize appeal. Overall this book took me to the next level in staging which I am learning on my own. I had absorbed HGTV and all the shows I could handle for a year before I bought this and it was still very helpful. If you do have money and are wondering how to spend it on your house as an equity investment for when you will be ready to to sell this well help but I would also read after that, "Home Staging: The Winning Way to Sell Your House for More Money"
I thought it would have content that I already knew or common sense info. It did have that but I found it also has a lot of useful info that I had not been told by real estate agents (we’ve sold 3 homes in our lifetime and are in our 4th) or things I hadn’t thought of. The book is worth getting in my opinion.

I like that it is thorough, has photos to illustrate each point, and it's easy to read. I wish it had color photos, but other than that it has been a great book.
Love this book. It was just what I was looking for.
