This is a required text book for Introduction for the Profession of Teaching. It is comprehensive, well organized, and does a good job explaining many view points on various subjects. I personally find it frustrating that extremely obvious points ... my paraphrase only 'the sky is blue' ... must be cited with a person's name. This may be necessary legally, but it drives me crazy.
The book was the book I ordered and expected it to be. It was in great condition. It's a great book, quite interesting, but of course, reading a textbook is never fun... at least it shouldn't be! It was great for the class. Most was common sense. I read almost 2 chapters of the entire book and got a 35 of 40 on my final. It's common sense for the most part!
I needed this book for a class at school. I could get it cheaper here than at the school bookstore..
I bought this textbook because my university said I had to buy it. There would be no other reason on earth that anyone would want to buy it.
It is a very insightful product, and tells you all you need to know about becoming a teacher, whether or not you are attending a university.
