I have many books by Andreas Moritz. As some reviewers mentioned previously, this book is meant as a "general" guide as the title (and page count) suggests, and more in-depth reading is recommended by the author for those who are interested on many topics covered. I think this is a wonderful little book for anyone who is starting out on the path to better health with more emphasis on changes in life style and food choices than depending on allopathic medicine's approach of just popping pills to mask symptoms without actively addressing the root cause. The other books by Andreas Moritz that I have found to be of great use for me on my path to self-empowerment through health is "the Amazing Liver and Gallbladder Flush" (a quick read - about the same size as this book, around 200 pages) and "Timeless Secrets of Health & Rejuvenation" (a large book with so much information, but maybe a little awkward as a soft cover book due to its larger format at 8.5 x 11 inches). And these are the titles that get mentioned a lot for recommended further reading in this book. Human body is an amazing thing, capable of great feat of self-maintenance and self-healing, and by choosing to be accountable for its well-being, we can enjoy its full capability without problems (or at the least, reduce the frequency and duration of illnesses and enhance the quality of life) for a long time.Read full review
