It is great to see the actual board, not just the algebraic notation.
The book starts with very simple concepts and then it builds gradually into more advanced ideas and practical information. The chapters on strategy are well organized and quite useful. The section on middle game strategy is well organized, and a good introduction to more advanced books on that difficult subject.
