Useful to anyone taking basic physical science course
I wouldn't say I love the book or hate it because I honestly get more use out of lecture notes than out of textbook readings; however, when I did use the book it did give me a very detailed answer to most any question I had. The book covers all areas of Physical Oceanography territory from Astronomy to Ocean Currents. There were a few times when my professor said the author was either wrong or a tad bit off in his information/statements, but for the most part was correct.

Great book, i believe they wrote this book well. The pictures and diagrams are awesome. I enjoy the hardback because they last longer.
