This is the 1st book I have read from this author, but definately not my last.It was hard to put it down.Lots of action, very interesting.factual about the subject and I just loved it....nothing there that I did not like and I've been an avid reader for about 40 years..
Great thriller! The ebay review shows the grieving FBI agent as "Karen Crowe" .. this must be a mistake because the FBI agent is Alex Morse and she is out to prove a conspiracy of murders for hire (which included her sister). The twists are how the murders are done and why. She is out to save the next victim. I couldn't wait to hear the ending to see if she saved Dr. Shepard (the last potential victim) and catch the bad guys. Great ending and enjoyed listening to this one.
I bought the unabridged audiobook and found it to be a bit slow at first, but then it takes off and doesn't slow down. It has good twists and turns; simple yet imaginative, grim life and death chase scenes from which our hero and heroine must escape. I like this book.
True Evil is a wickedly good book. I have listened to all of Greg Iles books on audio and I first heard this book abridged and felt like I needed to hear it unabridged. If you like Robin Cook, Michael Palmer, James Patterson, Michael Crichton, Harlan Coben, etc... then this is a must listen to. Of All of Greg Iles bokks, this is my personal favorite. Enjoy the thriller and "True Evil"!
I doubt anyone could guess the ending to this book. I suspect the author didn't know until he wrote it because it was all over the place with posibilities. If you are looking for dull predicible books this isn't for you.
