You could tell this was the last season from the 1st episode in it. "A Womb with a View" starts out good, musical number about then current situation of show. We saw in the beginning Disney clipps with Tinker Bell & Sleeping Beauty Castle and a Disneyland Mickey parade show in a montage with Louis Armstrongs "What A Wonderful World" and we end up with Willis in a diaper and a poor end to the Maddie being pregnant storyline. Music highlight 1 episode had an Elvis song. Poor storyline with Virginia Madsen playing Maddie's cousin Annie in several episodes that was all wrong. For Willis fans the highlight episode here is "When Girls Collide". We see Willis’s ex wife exchanging glances with him as we meeting the Annie character. Then, David & Annie out for a walk & we see a "Die Hard" poster being taken down behind him. Final episode on the inside episode brochure says "star-packed final episode". NO guest stars. Star-packed it was NOT. We do see the "Disneyland" reference a plus in the episode. NO good commentary on this last season package. We miss the show, when it was in its heyday before the story lines brought it down.Read full review
Great show! A favorite. Bruce Willis and Cybill Shepherd are fun to watch. It's got fun storylines, humor, mystery, romance. I loved watching Moonlighting on Tuesday nights as a teenager and it is great to be able to enjoy them again. Excellent writing. Season Five is the final season and there are thirteen episodes. I love the back and forth between David and Maddie. Herbert and Agnes are fun, too. I love the eighties fashion, vehicles, decor, hair...just an overall treat!

I didn't think that Moonlighting could go on after Maddie and David had sex in the end of season 3, because the theme of the love/hate relationship usually ends when the characters get married or involved. But the writers kept them together. Their relationship morphs into a weird open ended thing, which I didn't like. There is still a lot of zaniness. We laughed a lot. The Herbert, Agnes, and McGillicuddy interaction was a complete hoot. But, they stretched the boundaries too far in the last episode. I'm sure that's why they got cancelled. "To be continued" didn't happen. (No, I won't tell you what happened, no matter how much you plead) But overall, Moonlighting fans won't be disappointed.

This was the final season set for an excellent show! It doesn't seem as though they put as much care into this final season set as they did the first, but it's still required viewing for the Moonlighting fan.
