I've had PHoF: The Williams Collection (WC) for many years and enjoyed it immensely. When I learned of the Gottlieb Collection (GC) I decided to add it to the mix. It was a good decision. The play is similarly realistic to the WC. The tables chosen for the GC seem to be of an older vintage and the graphics are not quite as good as the WC - it may well be that the GC was done first. But if you enjoy one you'll enjoy the other.

The Gottlieb collection has some good and some boring machines in it. Personally I think the Williams collection by the same publisher is a better game overall with more modern machines but I don't regret owning both games.

Of course, playing old video games on new giant high res TVs are not going to look real sharp, but we expected that

Great retro Pinball action. I have the "Williams Collection" also, and in my opinion, the Williams has slightly better graphics. But (and this was important to me) the Gottlieb Collection has the pinball version of the old "puck bowling" game, which is a classic game of skill. If you're an old pinball addict, as well as a puck bowling fan, this game will pay for itself in no time since you're saving a quarter per game played. If you loved old pinball machines, my recommendation is to buy this, AND the Williams Collection. You'll be glad you did.

The Gottlieb Collection had quite the big brother to follow with the PHoF-Williams Collection. While it is easy to say these are both pinball games, Williams and Gottlieb had different philosophies to their games. The Williams games have more intricate ways to win jackpot points, while the Gottlieb games do not seem to have as many of those bells and whistles. That's not to say the games are easy, just different. Like PHoF-TWC, I definitely feel like I'm playing pinball with the Gottlieb Collection. Other great things about these Wii pinball games include: You don't have to give up a whole room to store all these games to play, you don't have to buy the machines, and you don't have to worry about maintenance or wear and tear. I liked the shoutout to the Pinball Hall of Fame in Las Vegas. The last two times I have been there, I made sure I stopped by, bringing a roll of quarters with me each time. If you love or loved pinball, you will love that place, and you would enjoy the Pinball Hall of Fame: The Gottlieb Collection (and The Williams Collection) for the Wii.Read full review
Being an old pinball kid from the 50's, it is great to play the older classic Gottlieb machines again. This is a nice collection and with real graphics and playability. I also have the Williams collection and this is great to have both. Brings back great memories. Better than some of these other pinball programs on Wii.

As a true 'pinhead' , I can say that this is a pretty nice collection. the graphics are a *little* crude but definitely acceptable nonetheless. It's hard to capture the realism from software, but coupled with the Wii controller, they have done an admirable job. I personally have 4 REAL pinball machines to play, but I still enjoy firing up both PHOF titles (this one and the Williams one). They provide GREAT entertainment value! One last comment: If you are a true pinhead, do yourself a favor and make SURE to go to the real Pinball Hall of Fame in Las Vegas when you are out there. It is in one word AWESOME. Where else can you go and actually PLAY an old woodrail? Or rare pins (such as Big Bang Bar)? Nowhere! So by all means, get out there and check out the machines! Make sure to say hello to Tim or to the Hippie, who maintains the games. They really do a great job there!Read full review
This version is at the level of its William collection counterpart. The tables I don't like as much, but that's a matter of taste. I am satisfied with the game.

Another fun pinball game. The bits of history on each game is very interesting. The graphics don't seem to be as great as the Williams Collection but the games represented are also of the older variety. All in all it is still a great game and can be just as addicting as the Williams Collection.
