Furu Furu Park is a budget game for Wii which has 24 mini games. FYI, it says 30 games in the manual but actually some of the mini games are exactly the same except for the difficulty setting. The graphics don't look great. It's a 'retro-style' standard., thus don't expect too much in this department. For those who like anime cartoon, you might find the graphics more acceptable than the majority of gamers. Sounds/Music in the game are just standard. Control is good. The game will give you a clear explanation in how you should use the controller for each mini games. I would suggest you to rent the game and play it before u make decision to get this product; unless you can get it cheap on Ebay.
Ok...I got this for cheap here on E-Bay so I didn't expect a whole lot from it. I had hope cause it contains some of my favorite older games (Bubble Bobble, Archaoid..which is Breakout..my favorite old game of all time..) But what I found was kind of boring and not a whole lot of fun. There are 30 games on this, but, over half of them are not worth the script it took to program them. I'm not saying that the game is out right horrible...it just falls short of being a good game....Some of these mini games are a blast to play...but you only have a certain amount of time to play them then it's on to another..most likely less fun game. All the games require different aspects of movement from the Wiimote but it gets repetitive very quickly. Some are downright muscle cramping. Now it does have different modes but generally it's all the same thing...mini game after mini game. Not impressive..but not nausea causing either. So my advice for all you Wii owners that see that this game has 30 games and think its a good deal...RENT this bad boy unless...you get lucky like I did and find it for less than 20 bucks here on E-Bay. I feel I got a good deal so the game is no that bad...if I would have spent the 20 asked for in retail...I would not have been happy at all. This is a good game for a group of people to play...the ones not playing can laugh at the agony of the ones playing. So all in all not a bad game but definitely not the best...there are much better games for you to spend your money on...I plan on using this game at GameSpot as a trade in to get 20% of the Mario Cart that comes out later this year.Read full review
The mini games in Furu Furu park are fun, however, they are not like in Wario Ware where you play them back to back and very quickly. For instance, the baseball min i game is very fun, but you only play one out and then you go back to the menu and have to wait a couple minutes to do it again. The gameplay is pretty smooth and it really does a good job of utilizing the features of the wii-mote, and is worth buying for the generally low sticker-price.
This is packed with different games. You might find similarities with old hits like Space Invaders. Graphics are great. The challenge levels range from very easy to semi-hard. A bit confusing at times but easy once you get the hang of it. My only beef is that the games are very short; they seem like they're over before you ever really start. Good for kids. Adults may less than thrilled.
Controller movement is clunky. Most games you only need to tilt or wigggle controller, so easy for young ones to do. Colorful with fast pace music, but slow in between games. Ten yr old loved it, but did get bored quickly.
