The vintage 1990 Gargoyle's Quest video game for the Nintendo Game Boy is a spin-off of the popular Ghosts 'N Goblins franchise. It puts players in the role of Red Devil, the enemy gargoyle from the original game in the series. However, this version adds a number of roleplaying elements to the formula including leveling up, conversing with townspeople, and collecting mystical items.
