Why not released in the US?
Great shoot 'em up that never made it's way to the states. Gameplay is up tempo with a variety of weapons. The game was pretty challenging on easy mode. To be honest and realistic most of these higher priced/allegedly rarer retro video games probably aren't worth the cost but I have a soft spot for nostalgia and a great 'shmup as they say.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

If you are a fan of the show and shooters then you may love this
This game might be the best shooter for a Nintendo system of this era. The stages clearly represent various points in the television show and the gameplay remains sufficiently challenging even on easy mode. Be aware that there are many subtle mechanics to adapt to without the assistance of an instruction manual.An example is that withholding fire creates a yellow aura around your jet. Some enemies that touch this aura can be converted to fight for you. If your plane clips your potential ally during the conversion process it registers as a hit. What attacks the new ally does varies, and you will need to do lots of trial and error to find a combination that works for you. At first glance you may choose Max as your pilot for his homing shot, but all 3 pilots have at least one attack that will laser through walls and boss defenses. Figuring out which attack to use when is part of the game, so if you are used to settling in to a one size fits all attack in your shooters then you should think twice here.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned
