Sol-Feace (Sega CD, 1992) Disc Only. Condition is "Good". Shipped with USPS First Class.
Set in the 31st century, humans have created a master computer called the Gatefold Computer System, or GCS-WT. Soon after creation the computer believed that it was superior to humans so it gave them an ultimatum: be ruled or be destroyed. Humans did not wish to be ruled by their own computer so they fought back. In the battles many were defeated, however, one small group managed to escape and regroup at a base unknown to GCS-WT, near the star Sirius.
While at the base near Sirius the group has built what they believe to be the most powerful starfighter ever. Their objective is to use this starfighter to fight through the computer's defenses and hopefully destroy it. Now, as the pilot of this starfighter, you are the human species' last hope.
Sol-Feace is the direct port of the Genesis version, titled Sol-Deace. The game features a total of six levels: Sirius, Enemy Arsenal, ArtifiStar, Pluto Base, Almathea, and Final Battle. Along the way various weapons can be picked up including plasma bullets, double plasma bullets, lasers, and missiles.
A great classic and sprite based shooter for the Sega CD!!
This is a great classic 16-bit shooter. The graphics while not the best of it's generation, are quite detailed and colorful. The music is outstanding and really fits the game well. Controls are pretty decent. The ability to control your guns to spread the shot or make a direct shot forward is a nice touch. The added cut-scenes on this CD version are quite nice and have an Japanese Anime feel to it. The game is rather short, but if you are looking for a quick, cheap and fun blast don't pass this game up! It's definitely worth the few bucks that it costs to own! Highly recommended!
Simple: MUST HAVE GAME for any Sega CD collector and retro player!!
I bought this game again to add back into my collection and forgot how amazing it was. This is done by renovation (back then called Wolf Team) one of the best video game makers in the world in my opinion. I LOVE every game I've ever played by them and this one is NO different. I LOVE shooters and this one is one of the best. To start: the music score is so well done. I enjoy just listening to the music really as I play. But on top of that the graphics, gameplay, and just total fun of this shooter is out of this world. The storyline is even really neat. I really can't say enough about this game. It does suffer from a bit of slow down from time to time but that is about all I can say negative about it. You can find a mint copy with manual for about $20 on ebay at any given time and it's WELL worth every single penny. If your new to Sega CD or like me have been collecting and playing all your life I HIGHLY recommend adding this game to your collection and experiencing why old school gaming CAN'T be beat and I hope will stay alive among the gaming community for years to come... because of games like this one ...I feel it will!!!

Loved this game back in the day. It is super difficult, however. Nonetheless, if you're an old Sega CD fan like myself, it is a must-have for the collection. Super fun, super graphics, super soundtrack...super game.
Decent graphics, great sound.
Touchy control, ship is too large, fire too small.
