This is a great classic 16-bit shooter. The graphics while not the best of it's generation, are quite detailed and colorful. The music is outstanding and really fits the game well. Controls are pretty decent. The ability to control your guns to spread the shot or make a direct shot forward is a nice touch. The added cut-scenes on this CD version are quite nice and have an Japanese Anime feel to it. The game is rather short, but if you are looking for a quick, cheap and fun blast don't pass this game up! It's definitely worth the few bucks that it costs to own! Highly recommended!
I bought this game again to add back into my collection and forgot how amazing it was. This is done by renovation (back then called Wolf Team) one of the best video game makers in the world in my opinion. I LOVE every game I've ever played by them and this one is NO different. I LOVE shooters and this one is one of the best. To start: the music score is so well done. I enjoy just listening to the music really as I play. But on top of that the graphics, gameplay, and just total fun of this shooter is out of this world. The storyline is even really neat. I really can't say enough about this game. It does suffer from a bit of slow down from time to time but that is about all I can say negative about it. You can find a mint copy with manual for about $20 on ebay at any given time and it's WELL worth every single penny. If your new to Sega CD or like me have been collecting and playing all your life I HIGHLY recommend adding this game to your collection and experiencing why old school gaming CAN'T be beat and I hope will stay alive among the gaming community for years to come... because of games like this one ...I feel it will!!! Loved this game back in the day. It is super difficult, however. Nonetheless, if you're an old Sega CD fan like myself, it is a must-have for the collection. Super fun, super graphics, super soundtrack...super game.
