As game based on a movie for the Atari 2600, it does a surprisingly good job of both following the movie and being enjoyable to play. In each screen a different style of play is expected from the player. They aren't terribly complicated, but it's nice to see them switch up from time to time. My only two complaints about it are that the first screen can go too long once you get good at it. It's nice to see you holding off the enemy, but since it's designed for you to fail eventually before the game can progress, it would be nicer if they just put a time limit on it instead. The screen with the webs can be difficult to navigate, go figure, but it can lead to frustration sometimes as you actually get stuck and can't get out of some spots due to the controls. Once you get the hang of it, it's not too often, but the controls could feel tighter. But learning the controls is part of the Atari experience, and it does an OK job hitting the highlights from the movie. If you like Atari and/or Krull it's a good find.Read full review
