Great for sliding on drysuit wrist seals
I use this to make the silicone wrist seals on my drysuit slide on (I've used it for latex wrist seals, too). I know a lot of people use talc, and some suit manufacturers even provide little bags of talc, but I prefer this. When I've used talc, it transfers from my fingertips to the inside of my latex neck seal, and over the course of a multi-day trip, it ends up abrading my neck. I put a small amount of this silicone liquid into a little squirt bottle and keep it in the side pocket of my deck bag. I squirt a small amount onto the inside of one side of the seal and then press the seal together and rub to spread it all over the end of the seal. It works great!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Carribean environment test.
I live in the carribean on St Thomas USVI and sharpen knives for restaurants. One of the worst problems is flash rust forming on high-end carbon steel knives. I have tried a lot of oils and solvents to remove a prevent the rust. It always comes back. Trident is food safe so after some preping I sprayed the test knife, let it sit, and wiped....days later.... "NO RUST !!!!".
