This dehumidifier pulls water better out of my basement than my previous 70 pint unit! I have to empty it twice as much. It looks good too. So far I’m happy. It’s been running at least a week straight. Does heat the area up a bit though.

Great dehumidifier for the price and very efficient.
I have had it now for just few weeks and so far works great. It is more efficient than another unit I have made by GE. Also it is runs with much less noise. It is a great deal for the price and works better than most of the other models I used in the past. My only complaint about its design is the fact that you have to tilt the water bucket to the outside about 45 degrees to remove it so have to be careful you do not spill any water. It has been a very good unit otherwise.

More quiet than most dehumidifiers
This item is quieter than most dehumidifiers which is still rather loud. Ours clears about a gallon a day from a humid basement and we like it that much. It is easy to program. Returning the catch bucket after emptying requires the right angle and improves with practice. The only complaint is that even with a short drain hose attached, it sometimes backs up into the catch bucket anyway.

LG dehumidifier takes a lot of moisture out of the air
Seems that this LG dehumidifier unit evacuates a LOT of water out of the air. It was a little quieter when first starting it and for a few days...but, now it seems to be getting noisier as time goes on. I think I am going to need to find a location to place this unit, so it drains rather than needing to empty the bucket 4 times a day. My place has been quite damp since March, the basement flooded and it's been the wettest year in history. Empathy for the farmers who experienced way too much rainfall.

works well, but might cost more in the long run
works very well, removes a LOT of water. but it is loud, and does warm up the air, so I have to turn down the thermostat, making the a/c run more. so, drier air, but lower a/c, which costs more.
