This is a fantastic collection of "lost" horror flicks from the 1930s. I have never seen these offered before and I didn't know MGM did horror movies. If you like this sort of film, this is the collection for you. A few are even "pre-code" so they are uncensored in any way. You got "Dr X" - "The Return Of Dr X" - "Mad Love" - "The Devil Doll" - "Mark Of The Vampire" - "The Mask Of Fu Manchu". They were all new to me.

The "Hollywood Legends of Horror" collection is another must-own box set from Warner Home Video. Just as essential to the horror fan's library as the Val Lewton and Hammer Horror Collections, this set contains six golden-age masterworks of terror. The double feature discs, including "Mad Love"/"The Devil Doll", "Mark of the Vampire"/"The Mask of Fu Manchu", and "Doctor X"/"The Return of Doctor X" are packaged in slim cases to save shelf space, as opposed to the previous Val Lewton and Hammer sets. Warner's crisp restorations, excellent audio commentaries and trailers for five of the films, and beautiful packaging art make this set a treat. However, the lack of a commentary for "The Devil Doll" is a rather glaring omission to an otherwise comprehensive collection. Highly recommended.
This collection is a highly collectible collection. Mark of the Vampire is the main reason I bought this collection. I’m a big fan Of Bela Lugosi and this helps fill my collection of his films. Highly recommend for fans of the Horror genre.
