Age is a Factor
I'm willing to bet that most of the folks who give this game a bad review either never played it upon its release or are too young to remember it. If you had this game as a kid, you had the friends over playing with you. The WWF was at its pinnacle during this release, and Hogan was a huge icon. It didn't matter how smooth the gameplay was, you were finally able to play as your favorite wrestlers. For its time, this game was awesome and I remember being excited about how accurate the wrestlers looked in the game. A lot of good memories. Maybe you just had to be there during that time when the WWF was ruling America.
