I loved this so much I bought another shortly to have as spare and take to family gatherings where the coffee pot can hardly keep up. Its super sturdy, unlike the off brand version I picked up first because it was cheaper. Just get the real deal the first time and you won't regret it. Its bigger, stronger and you don't have to worry about bending the cheap metal when you wash it like the flimsier copy cats.

The design of the strainer on this percolator boggles the mind. I have tried every kind of grind of coffee from fine to course and I cannot get the water to strain through the coffee in less than half an hour. Why did they make these strange holes that clog up every time?Simple strainer holes will allow the water to pass through so that one doesnt have to leave the pot burning up on the stove and boiling away all the water just to get one cup of coffee at the end.

I decided to buy this stainless steel coffee pot because my electric ones kept breaking. I have a gas stove so I figured this one would guarantee that I would always have a working coffee pot on hand. It has worked well so far, and is easy to clean and the stainless steel is safe to use; I don't have to worry about aluminum leaching into my coffee. If you hand grind your coffee beans, make sure you don't grind them too fine or they will clog up the drip container. It's better to use a courser grind. Also, make sure that the coffee doesn't perk too long...the see thru knob on top makes it easy to tell when the percolating water turns from clear to coffee brown and then it is ready to pour. All in All... I'm very satisfied!
I Have Been Using This Pot For A Number Of Days, Excellent Coffee, With Any Type Used, Easy To Clean, Finnish Is Still Looking Good, Does Not Over Boil Coffee, I Have Purchased Another For A Friend Who Also Likes His. If You Are Thinking About Purchasing This Unit, Just Do It, You Will Not Regret It.

No Electricity required. You can easily brew your coffee on a gas stove or camp fire and have a nice old fashioned cup of coffee. Your only limitation is your own ability to brew the perfect cup.
